ART AND DESIGN 

As part of the carousel we done art and design, what we had to do for this was making different designs using an A3 piece of paper to put onto the mannequin head. We placed the mannequin in a black box with a small spot light, and took photographs with our phones. We tried a lot of different designs here are a few...

This was one of the designs, this photograph has also been edited i changed the contrast and also darkened it. when taking the photo i only showed one side of the mannequins face i feel like this gave it a good effect and mood. Also when taking this picture I moved the spot light to the left side of the mannequins face this also helped make the other side dark. The paper we used for the mannequin had mark making on it that we had done in a previous lesson where we had to draw to words or music and how they made us feel, for each picture we used either chalk, grafit, charcoal, pencil, acrylic paint and ink. Doing this let every picture have its own meaning and own look and effect.

This is one of the other photographs that i took, the spot light is set in a diffrent place and there is also less editing. This paper design was also made by the A3 mark making sheet that we had made in the previous lesson, it was cut and folded to look like a mask. This photograph represents power and strength to me as those are the vibes and moods i get from it. In this photograph the spot light is facing towards the mannequin making the whole body visible.











What i learned from this expiriance doing Art and Design was how to do mark making, and how to work in a art enviroment also it gave me some more creative ideas on taking photovgraphs and how to think outside the box to get a good shot.
