Today we looked at the aperture, wide aperture is the one that is letting more light in and is the lower number f1.8 is the lowest aperture, this will make the background blurry and the foreground will be in focus. The larger the aperture the more light is let in, and the smaller the aperture the less light. The size of the aperture determines which area of the image is sharp, the rest will be blurry.




Our task today was to take photographs at different apertures, for example taking a photo at f1.4 would give us a completely different result to one taken at f40. Here are the photos I took...
