Tuesday Lesson 1 Darkroom

Materials- The materials we used while in the dark room where, photographic paper, baths containing solutions, water, paintbrushes, tongs. Processes- First we got our photographic paper and used the enlarger, once we had done the exposing we put the photographic paper into the developer and then in each different solution. After that we left the paper in water for 5 minutes to clean of all the chemicals, once that was done we dried the paper. Technical skills- The skills I used was changing the exposure time to make a difference to the photo and the quality of it. Most of the time we used 10 seconds. I was exposing the 5 pound note, the first time it didn't work because the note was not pressed against the photographic paper, the second time I placed some glass on the top of the 5 pound note this made it press harder against the paper meaning when the paper went into the developer the picture came out better and clearer. 3D photography project

3D PHOTOGRAPHY The things i used to make my photograph 3D was black card, photograph paper, scalpel, and a ruler. i got inspiration to do this from examples showed in class but i added some of my own ideas, such as making the middle of the picture stand out more than the rest. By raising the middle using foam stickers. Before printing of the photograph i edited it on photoshop changing the brightness, contrast and vibrance make the details in the photograph stand out more such as the tear drops in the eye. This is a picture of what i made its not very clear in the photographs but i have used more foam stickers under the eye in the middle as that is the most detailed part of the image and i wanted it to stand out. To make this i printed out a photograph and cut it into stripes equal amount apart using a scalpel once i had done that i stuck them down on a black piece of card using double sided tape and foam stickers it has a 3D effect but i feel i could have made it stand ...

Adobe After Effects

This was the final project of my attempt on adobe after effects, as it shows you can see that the plane goes across the background and as it gets further across the page it starts to disapear. I tried this with other photographs but it didn't work as well so i stuck with the one we was given in class . Before creating the after effects make sure you crop and trim the photograph if it needs to be straight, also edit it by doing things like brighting it it and making the colours brighter. Import all the things you wanna use in your projects. in the menu bar, choose file>import>file to open the import dialog box, navigate the files accessible to your system and choose the elements to import. Make sure you make layers and blend using hue and saturation effects. Animate a element a long a path through the scene and correct its colours.
