Harold Edgerton

Edgerton was born on 6th April 1903 in Fremont, Nebraska, and died on January 4th 1990 at the age of 86. Edgerton studied at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and studied electrical Engineering in 1925. Edgerton was also known as "Papa Flash" and was a professor of electrical engineering, at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. For Edgerton's carer he began a life long association with a photographer Gjon Mili, who used stroboscopic equipment in particular multiple studio electronic flash units, by doing this they managed to produce beautiful photographs which where very eye catching and appeared in "Life Magazine"
