Health and Safety in the Darkroom

When in the dark room we have to make sure that we follow all the heath and safety rules... 

• Make sure the area you are working in and the area around you is clear and not cluttered, this will prevent people tripping and hurting themselves. 
• Don't mix chemicals keep each chemical in there own tray.
• Do not eat pr drink the in dark room.
• Make sure the dark room is well ventilated. 
• Make sure you are waring the correct protective equipment when dealing with the chemicals this means gloves, tongs or goggles. 
• Make sure all containers containing chemicals have labels on them showing what it contains. 
• Wash your hands after being in the dark room.
